Some customers prefer the look of natural moss. Until now, this meant a good deal of extra work using chicken wire or deer netting to hold the moss in place. But our New Zealand moss liners, made from compressed, preformed sphagnum moss, have extremely long fibers, as much as 10" long. These fibers add strength, so the liners do not sag between the widely spaced bars of our largest hayracks. They are easy to install and hold up well in use. The appearance is captivatingly natural. This moss is farmed according to a management plan by the New Zealand Department of Conservation.
